I tried many different forms of dance, sport, and music when I was younger and flamenco was the first form that I found that I could express myself fully in. It’s such a cliche, but it was like finding the right language to speak when you’re so frustrated with the inadequacies of your own language – it’s like a native tongue that I never knew I had.
Kelly Houghton
Kelly, the daughter of Hispanic Migrants, was exposed to flamenco at an early age via the Spanish community in Sydney. There, she studied under some of the best flamenco teachers in Australia and was given amazing opportunities to showcase her talents

Meg Walker
Meg is an amazingly talented singer. The cante flamenco meaning "flamenco song", is one of the three main components of flamenco, along with toque (playing the guitar) and baile (dance). Because the dancer is front and center in a flamenco performance, foreigners often assume the dance is the most important aspect of the art form - but in fact, it is the cante which is the heart and soul of the genre.
Mark Bromley
BMus (Hons), AMus
Mark Bromley teaches guitar and bass guitar, a little fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and cello, as well as music theory and composition. He has composed scores for several low budget theatre companies, composed and performed with IGNEOUS (performance theatre), and played with countless ensembles from solo to orchestra in many genres from classical to avant garde for the last 30 years.
Paul Margolin
Paul has been playing Flamenco guitar for over 40 years. Originally taught in Spain , Paul spent over 30 years playing in Flamenco shows around Australia with various groups. Paul is a consulting astrologer and conducts readings at Temple Byron by appointment. Paul combines Western Astrology with ancient Vedic Astrology in his readings and uses a unique method of incorporating very different forms to give a very comprehensive and deep interpretation of the birth chart, life cycles and future transits.
